| In an environmental compliance audit, the facility's past and present usage of hazardous materials, along with current and past disposal methods for each waste stream, are reviewed to determine the regulations which impact the company's operations and the level of compliance with each. This review would include The Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, CT Regulated Wastes, Hazardous Waste, Underground Storage Tank and SARA Title III - Community-Right-to-Know regulations.
A written report is submitted, detailing the findings of the audit. Recommendations for remedial actions which would bring the company into compliance with the applicable regulations are included. |
